Most important properties

Characters/objects come in wide variety of shapes and sizes so it’s likely that you’ll need to manually adjust material and VFX properties to make everything look right.

VFX Properties:
- ParticleScaleMultiplier – depends on the total size of the object
- ParticleSpawnRateMultiplier – depends on the size of the selected renderer
- DissolveSpawnRateMultiplier – depends on the size of the selected renderer. When using Omnidirectional Dissolve direction, it should be usually higher.
- AdditionalOffsetForCenterParticles – adds a manual offset to correctly position Center particles (such as 6D explosions). This offset is added to the RootOffset.
- DissolvePatternSpawnEdgeRadius and DissolveObjectSpawnWidth – depend on the total size of the object

Each VFX may have additional specific properties that help you customize it for your object.
Material Properties:
- Scale of textures – depends on the total size of the object. There are various tilling, scale a tile properties, so the effects can be adapted to any size.
- OverlayAppearMapTriplanar and AdditionalEmissionTriplanar – comes in handy when these effects are too scattered because of how the UVs are set up (typically low poly style).
- PulseExtrusionStrength and ExtrusionStrength – depend on the total size of the object. Set them to 0 to disable extrusion.

Keep in mind that any properties animated in Animation Settings in Special Effect script will overwrite values saved in the material.
